  • What do I need to generate a sentiment report?

Just enter your domain name, business name, and location. SplashDash will do the rest.

  • What does the sentiment score mean?

It’s the percentage of positive, neutral, or negative mentions over time—based on keyword tone, context, and volume. You can filter these by positive, neutral, and negative.

  • What does the organic traffic number represent?

Organic traffic is the estimated number of monthly visitors coming from search engines like Google. It reflects how well the business is currently ranking for relevant keywords and how visible they are online.

  • What is traffic value, and why does it matter?

Traffic value is the estimated monthly cost of acquiring the same traffic through paid advertising. It's a great way to show clients the real dollar value of their SEO performance, even if they’re not currently running ads.

  • What does Domain Authority (DA) tell me?

Domain Authority is a score from 1–100 that predicts how likely a website is to rank. A higher DA usually means stronger trust and visibility. Agencies can use this to determine if link building or PR outreach is needed.

  • Why are backlinks and referring domains separated?

Total backlinks show how many links point to a site, while referring domains show how many unique websites link to it. More unique domains usually carry more weight in SEO. Aim for diversity, not just volume.

  • What does it mean if most website pages have no traffic?

That indicates content bloat or underperformance.

Use this as an opportunity to consolidate, redirect, or improve those pages—boosting overall site quality and focus.

  • How should I interpret historical traffic trends?

Look at the timeline to see seasonality, growth, or drops in traffic. This helps set expectations with clients and identify good timing for launching campaigns or making site updates.

  • What does it mean if backlinks have been lost?

Backlink loss happens naturally over time, but ongoing link monitoring is key. Lost links may weaken SEO performance. Recommend new outreach efforts or campaigns to offset these losses.

  • How do I present this report to clients or prospects?

Use it as a clear, data-backed snapshot of their current digital health. Highlight strengths, expose opportunities, and use visuals to support a strategic pitch or monthly report. It’s ideal for onboarding, proposals, or upselling.
